About NSS

In Narain College NSS was started in 1972. Dr. R. B. Singh, head of sociology Department was the first programme officer of NSS. Soon three units of NSS began to work - Unit I in Science faculty, Unit II in Arts faculty & Unit III in Agriculture faculty. The NSS voluntaries of the college has been selected for various National integration campus which were held in different places of the country. It is a matter of pride for the college that three times NSS voluntaries of this college had been chosen for Republic Day Parade. NSS of this college has done remarkable social works in adopted villages.
